A Little Issue with the Samsung Intrepid
Now, because I have a Samsung, I am typically willing to give most of their phones a chance. One thing bothers me about the Samsung Intrepid, though. Thus far, most reviewers are touting as an “affordable phone” — and, you know, for some people, I am sure it is.
However, having to pay $129.99 for a phone … with service … does not strike me as the greatest deal. I recognize that lots of phones are way more expensive than that … but I also realize that, if given the choice, a lot of us have better things on which to spend a hundred and thirty dollars. Like, you know, groceries and gas and things like that.
But anyhow, maybe that’s just me. The phone is being released for Sprint, it runs on the professional version of Windows Mobile 6.5, and hey, it won the Best Seller Award, so maybe I just don’t know what I’m talking about.
