Crystal Christian Dior Phone – Awaiting Details

Found word about this extremely feminine, yet extremely mysterious pinnacle of Designer Phones at Brian’s Luxury Weblog. To quote Brian (or Heather, I’m confused):

“This phone is Christian Dior’s new project and it is worth $28,000. It has over six hundred diamonds on it along with thirty-four black sapphire crystals. This beautiful piece of technology weighs in at about 3.251 carats and is definitely worth the money!”

They seem convinced – I’m not. Christian Dior is obviously looking for a quick cash, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Paris Hilton will surely LOVE this phone. But in the real world, the world where people actually have to work to pay the bills, a non-functional $20,000+ gadget is a travesty. I don’t mind paying for toys, but they have to work — and looking at the lack of information Christian Dior is releasing about this phone, I’m fearing the worst.
