Nokia Attempts a Netbook Courtesy of AT&T
Nokia has long been a forerunner in the cell phone business. Now, they are ready to start tackling laptops. In fact, Best Buy will have the new notebook for sale, for an amazing three hundred dollars — as long as you are willing to sign up for a two year contract with an AT&T wireless plan. Frankly, if I could get a laptop for three hundred bucks, I would probably be willing to do just that. If you do not favor the AT&T deal, the laptop will still be available at double the price. Still, a laptop for only six hundred dollars is still a steal — if, of course, the new Nokia brand of notebooks prove to be worth their weight in salt. I still have dreaded memories of an IBM Thinkpad, so I am picky about my laptops. It goes on sale next week, though, so if the reviews come out well, yours truly might be taking a trip to Best Buy.
