The Sony Ericsson T715 has all sorts of different features including: 2.2-inch QVGA display with 256K colors, a 3.2MP camera with Photo light, a new UI feature, a music player, a Stereo FM radio with RDS, Google Maps, a 90MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP. However, you also get the satisfaction of getting a Sony Ericsson phone itself.

This particular phone is supposed to hit the markets by the third quarter of this year and it actually will come in two different colors, a pink and a silver, as listed here. No word on pricing yet!

So, what is more annoying than hearing someone’s cell phone ringing incessantly in a public place? Someone’s obnoxious ring tone going off a bazillion times while you are in a restaurant, the grocery store, even while waiting for the bus, can seriously grate on your nerves — but what would you do if you saw someone’s clothing light up in rhythm with their ringing phone?!

Georgie Davis, a fashion student from England, made a very cute cocktail dress … for Sony Ericsson. Because the dress will connect to the Bluetooth technology of the person wearing it. So whenever that person’s cell phone rings, the lights on the dress will blink.

Presumably, this is so women in noisy environments like bars and things will still know when their phone is ringing. Of course, you just know it’s not going down like that. Some tart’s dress is going to be lighting up like crazy in the grocery store, or while she’s walking down the street, wreaking havoc with traffic.

Samsung, as we all know is definitely the leading phone supplier to everyone and anyone and when I heard that they were coming out with a clam phone, I just had to check it out! This phone is definitely a phone that everyone should check out at least once in their life, it is actually for the fashionable customers more than anyone. This phone almost looks like a compact which you keep makeup in, but it is actually a phone.

Now don’t think just because this phone is not as thin as a piece of paper that it does not look chic and all around is packed with technology. Actually, this phone has all sorts of different technology packed into it; you might have to take classes on how to use it!

Now, black is not the only color that this phone comes in either, you can also get it in pink and while the price is not out yet – this phone is definitely going to be expensive but worth it!

It has to be said that whenever you are looking for a brand new phone, you should get the very, very best and honestly – seriously, the HTC Touch Cruise 2009 is definitely the phone that is by far the best! Not only does this phone have so much technology packed into it, but it is one phone that is extremely sexy and totally looks fantastic and works great!

There is a personal navigation GPS in it, it features Windows Mobile 6 Professional OS and also has a touch screen on it, a 2.8 inch touch screen to be exact. The camera on this phone is by far one of the best and I honestly think that anyone who does not have this phone is not cool enough to hang out with me!

People, the HTC Touch Cruise 2009 is the phone of the future and you should absolutely check into it – or at least just see it!

When mobile phones were released, they offered the basic features of allowing people to keep in touch through calls and text messages. However, over the years due to the development of advanced technology, mobile phones soon offered a staggering number of features that allowed users to not only exchange information easily but to also access the Internet, listen to music, buy stuff online etc. Due to the existence of such features, mobile phone prices shot up. Naturally, only those were able to purchase these high-end mobile phones, who could afford them. Cell phones with those basic features are still in the market and are extremely low priced, allowing those with limited means to own a cell phone.

This clearly spells out the fact that mobile phones today are a form of status symbols. These days one is embarrassed to use an inexpensive cell phone in public as opposed to a sleek one that cost more than a one-way airplane ticket. The reason is clear – if you have an expensive cell phone, you have money and if you don’t, your place on the social ladder is right at the bottom. Flashing the new model of cell phone in the market is a privilege enjoyed by a select few.

However, for businessmen and other professionals, these high end devices are a necessity as they hold features that make the business man’s life easier and the transaction of his deals faster. Mobile phones are also used as accessories mostly by teenagers and young adults. According to a survey, most of them did not know how to use the cell phone and were not aware of the features offered by it but were happy to own it as it served as an additional accessory. It’s more important for them to look ‘cool’ in front of their peers instead of actually buying something which they have a use for.

Mobile phones are increasingly being used to attract attention by attaching shiny phone charms onto them or plastering them with glittering rhinestones. Keeping in mind status symbols, a number of celebrities are associated with mobile brands. This makes those brands even more attractive to the users and adds to the status symbol factor. For example- Oprah Winfrey and Barrack Obama are associated with Blackberry.

More than status symbols, cell phones have taken on the form of becoming style statements. Using the same phone as their favorite celebrity allows people to feel a sense of connection and affiliation to the celebrity. This shared affiliation allows users to feel as though they have something in common with the famous people with whom they associate the particular brand. Mobile phones that are advertised and endorsed by popular celebrities are also bought more often due to the same reason.

The validity of such claims, that is, of mobile phones being status symbols is questioned on a regular basis. Apart from those interested in “showing off”, those that are genuinely interested in newer technology are also known to buy the latest models in the market. As mentioned above, they are also bought by a large number of business men as it is a necessity for them and last but not the least, it is bought by celebrities, merely because they can. Cell phone users must keep this in mind. Buy something which is useful to you, not merely because its the jazziest new thing on the block.
