That is pretty much a given, and I will grant you that most of the people I know who have iPhones are absolutely in love with them.

Still, in this case, you have to wonder if the popularity level is not at all influenced by all the hype surrounding the iPhone 3G. I mean, after all, there was a heck of a lot of attention, to both the phone and all the many apps you can get for it.

The BlackBerry comes in at number two — shocker shocker. People love these smart phones, especially the BlackBerry Bold 9700. After all, that model is all business.

For example, with the Google Earth Version 2.0, you can customize maps that are created either by your or by someone else via the My Maps interface. You can also touch an icon and a small glow will appear under your finger to let you know exactly what icon you have picked.

The Google Earth Version 2.0 is also available in 31 different languages. Best of all – it’s free!

When you think about it, I think that the iPhone is actually taking over the world. Not only are there tons of applications for the phone but they also are coming out with so many things that you can actually DO with the iPhone.

To me – that is pretty cool, but how can any other phone compete? Well – that is not for us to decide right now, right now, we are going to talk about another gadget that you can use with your iPhone.

The HypnosEye iPhone Projector is actually a projector that you can use to projector anything from presentations all the way to movies … right from your iPhone!

The XSKN iKeyboard was actually devised with icons instead of actual keys. For example, there is a Skype key and an eBay key – so you can jump to your favorite websites right away without having to type anything in.

This is a keyboard that to me … is okay – not the best but it’s okay. It will be available this year sometime and for about $160.00 – which is a lot but it might be worth it!

The newest version of Facebook is going to bring about all sorts of improvements as well as additions and it will be the latest and greatest app from the apps store that the iPhone has ever seen! Some of the new features will include things like a Homescreen, News feed, pages, events (with the ability to RSVP for anything!) and enhanced notifications. This app will also allow you the ability to create photo albums for yourself as well as easily tag photos and upload images.

So really, what could be better than this incredible iPhone app? Nothing that I can think of!

The official iPhone carrier in the United States, AT&T, is releasing the official turn-by-turn GPS software with the Apple iPhone 3GS and 3G to help find their way turn-by-turn. They are giving away the software for free but it comes with a monthly service fee of $9.99 per month.

The cost is expected to cover for production of the complicated program and get the licenses for the map used in the system. Looking at it long term, the monthly fee will make consumers spend more compared to buying a stand alone GPS.

According to AT&T, they are a looking to attract a big chunk of the market by providing a feature-packed application and guarantee their satisfaction. The software is based on the DNA of Telenav GPS which is already in use by competitors like T-Mobile G1 with the Google Android.

The iPhone OS 3.0, AT&T tries to improve the turn-by-turn nav system using the on-screen guide and voice directions. AT&T aims to make it very convenient for travelers and drivers by giving them an up to date map system at no cost to them.

Reviews around the net are favorable toward the features of the navigation system like the auto re-routing, voice prompting, on-screen controls, speech recognition, and places of interest. Consumers are finding the iPhone GPS system very easy to use.

One weak point though is that the package does not come with a mounting device, iPhone owners must source it elsewhere if they want to use it while driving.

Apple has officially released the long awaited and much sought after iPhone OS 3.0 software package. Some reports say the software will update forty five software patches; others say the number is more like forty six.

At any rate, many security vulnerabilities can be fixed with the package. This will work for you if you have both an iPhone or an iPod Touch.

There are lots of new features included in the software update as well. For instance, in addition to push notifications and MMS, users will also be able to copy, paste, and cut text now.

Some believe that the iPhone OS 3.0 software is Apple’s way of retaliating against its rival, popular Blackberry manufacturer Research in Motion. Quite recently, Research in Motion released a security patch of its own, to address issues with the Blackberry.

The iPhone or the Blackberry Curve?

These two phones have a rivalry that equals the competition found between Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan; Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield; Jack in the Box and Burger King; Baskin Robbins and Cold Stone Creamery — well, you get the idea.

The answer, as found in an NPD survey, may very well surprise you. Most folks anticipated that during the first quarter of 2009, the iPhone would sweep across the board as the number one smartphone. That has not proven to be the case, however.

The survey reveals that, in all of the United States, Apple’s iPhone 3G takes second place. It is the runner up to the Research in Motion Blackberry Curve.

Following the first two spots are the Blackberry Storm in third place; the Blackberry Pearl — but not the Pearl Flip — in fourth place, and the T-Mobile G1 in fifth. Clearly, the Blackberries are the ones sweeping the boards.

This cell phone accessory is honestly the coolest and definitely the best. We all know that the iPhone is something that everyone in the world has heard of and owns, but really – are there a lot of useful accessories for the phone? Not really but Belkin changed all of that!

This little accessory is due to come out this fall and it is going to be roughly $80.00, so keep that in mind!

Now this is a mockup photo of what the latest and greatest Samsung Omnia Pro is going to look like. While this particular phone is not out yet, it should – hopefully – be coming out this year and even as close as next month! This phone is definitely going to revolutionize all phones in the world for it is going to be the very first touch screen phone that is going to have a slide out keyboard!

Personally, I can not wait for this phone to come out! There are so many different features available on this particular phone that I want to use, I think that it definitely going to be the next iPhone. This phone is going to feature a 5MP camera as well as a 3.5 inch OLED touch screen with Windows Mobile 6.1 – however, you can upgrade the phone to the new Windows Mobile 6.5!

The slide out keyboard is honestly one of the coolest things in the world and personally, I love slide out keyboards, whether they are on a crappy little phone or on a high tech phone like this. So really – just keep checking, I’ll keep you posted on this particular phone!
