That makes a big difference too.  What I mean is, will your phone be for emergencies?  Or do you plan to use it as your main phone, your social, work, and emergency contact?  A lot of people are eschewing landlines for cell phones these days, and if you plan to do that, it will factor into the plan you choose.  On the other hand, you do not want to get stuck paying for way more minutes than you use.</p>
<p>The places you call matter as well.  For example, if you make a lot of international calls, you naturally need a plan that will include such provisions, otherwise you will be stuck paying out the nose.</p>
<p>On the other hand, if most of your calls will be merely national, or simply local, well, you need to look for the proper plans.</p>
