Physically, the handset is a slim one, featuring a numeric keypad with an open face, which is able to slide up to reveal the actual keyboard. In both cases, the keys will remain active, so you can quickly access both letters and numbers — at the very same time, if you wish.

Now, I have to say, I have the Samsung Behold, which I love beyond reason, but in using the QWERTY keyboard on it, that is one of my only beefs — if you want to put in a number or certain symbols, you have to switch over to the appropriate screen, which kind of sucks, so I dig this idea.

Further, this phone is one of the first for AT&T which will use the new Opera browser — new and modified, that is. Users can surf with three windows — though that may get confusing, unless you are really good at multitasking.

Some of the specs on these phones include: 3-inch WQVGA display, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB), a media player, a 3MP camera, a video-call camera, a 255MB of internal memory, and a MicroSDHC card support. That is just the beginning actually!

So when you think of cell phones lately, you should consider Pantech as one company that you might want to dip into.
